some of the best parts about the writing...
Writing one really witty line and giving that little nod of approval.The conversations your characters have where you only loosely knew what you wanted to come out and it is coming out so perfectly you almost have to type faster to see what the next line is.Rereading some of your old work and realizing that that scene you were freaking out about actually turned out pretty good.Sudden plot twist ideas that not only work but fill in that annoying plot hole you’ve been fiddling with for a while.Stepping into a WIP you haven’t worked on in a while and having the perfect idea for how to get past that part you were stuck on before.your brain bursting with joy when you figure out how to write your way out of a block or plot holegetting positive feedback and grinning so hard your face hurtsfinishing off a chapter/part/book and getting to look back at all your hard work with pridepulling off a really difficult scene like a bossbeing able to see the improvement in your work when everything just clicks into placesome of the best parts about the writing process:
finding out past you set up some really sick ideas that play out later in the storysitting down to write and knowing what you what to accomplish in that sessionand then doing itremembering an idea you had just before falling asleep last nightstarting a new passion project that you’ve decided to write because you want torealizing that your writing is primarily for you and that you have the power to take the story wherever you wantfinding a song that fits a scene or character really wellwriting a description or piece of dialogue that just. fits.hitting your next big milestonethe feeling of writing the first words on a document for a new draftfinishing a draft and writing “THE END” at the bottom of the pageediting and realizing how far you’ve come as a writerplease add on with any of your favorite moments! let’s spread some writing positivity!
