From the founder’s perspective (that’s you), a productized service is one that runs systematically, and continues to produce and grow with or without your direct involvement.

There are no “pre-requisites” for this course or community. It does not assume you’ve had experience as a freelancer, nor does it require this experience to be successful with the productized service model.
Having seen inside the training, I tend to agree with this. Though you are likely to make faster progress if you have some experience working with clients in the past.

Sam Shepler, who succeeded Brian as the CEO of Productize, is also the founder and CEO of Testimonial Hero, a successful done-for-you service that specializes in creating video testimonials.
The current owner of Productize & Scale is James Sowers. He also seems to have plenty of experience building and growing businesses. You can check him out on Twitter.
So from what I’ve seen, the three people who have been behind P&S over the years all appear to be legit and experienced entrepreneurs.
Are Productize & Scale students getting results?They seem to be, yes.
While there is not much info about Productize & Scale available away from the official website, the sales page does feature some impressive testimonials for the training.
For example…
I’ve yet to hear anyone say a bad word about P&S or the people behind it, and I think we’ll see plenty more success stories coming out of it in due time.
How much does Productize & Scale cost?Lifetime access for Productize & Scale will cost you $497.
Keep in mind that you might want to put out some extra money for hosting and a domain for your website, if you don’t already have one.
The same goes for productized business costs, although it doesn’t look like they’re necessary to fully implement the training early on. But if you’re serious about building this kind of business then you will need a budget to eventually hire a team.

I haven’t seen anyone reporting issues getting a refund on their purchase, so you can rest easy with this guarantee.
How is Productize & Scale structured?Here’s what the course looks like once you log in and open one of the lessons…
The core training is broken up into 15 modules that are further broken up into 3 core sections…
LaunchGrowScaleAll of the lessons are in video format, and all of them can be downloaded in audio (MP3) or video (MP4) format. Most of them are over 10 minutes long and the content is marked with timestamps.
Despite the lack of a search function, the course is still easy to navigate. IMO, this is nicely complimented by the well organized, reasonably sized modules.
The course goes over all the crucial steps of creating and running a productized business. I found it to be quite comprehensive for fans of this business model, from beginner to advanced.
There are additional resources included with each lesson, such as workshops, templates, and spreadsheets.
Finally, joining Productize & Scale also grants you access to a private Slack community…
The community isn’t as active as I expected it to be with 400+ members, but each post seems to get a response. Overall I still consider it a nice value-add to the training itself.
