You know I have the same experience in my home when I witness the lack of interest in my bookshelves. I can't walk by anyone's bookshelf without looking, and generally have to be dragged away from it. So, it blows my mind that so many of my friends and family don't seem to even glance at mine. Mystery to me.... :)

Thanks for the comradery Jocelyn! I recently came across this C.S. Lewis quote:
"Those of us who have been true readers all our life seldom fully realize the enormous extension of our being which we owe to authors. We realize it best when we talk with an unliterary friend. He may be full of goodness and good sense but he inhabits a tiny world..."
So true. Thankful we stayed connected throughout my love/hate relationship with social media! I'm back on Twitter since last month and a few weeks ago, Terry Whalin convinced me to return to LinkedIn.
