2023 Update

Hey everyone! I've been absent on Goodreads for years, but I'm making a New Year's resolution (yes, a month early) to come back and keep things up to date here. Not just as a writer, but as a reader too. I've cleared all my bookshelves so I can get a fresh start with the new year. I always love to see what other authors are reading, so I'm going to make an effort to share my reads with you. Right now, I'm listening to Kulti in honor of the World Cup. I've read/listened to this book too many times to count, but I couldn't not reread it while I'm watching so much of the beautiful sport. Mariana Zapata is one of my favorite authors and is an auto-buy for me. No summary necessary. If she writes it, I will read it. Check her out if you get the chance!

Writing wise, here's what I'm up to...

This year I'm excited to return to the Kellywood Universe (Cinder & Ella, Happily Ever After, V is for Virgin, A is for Abstinence). This spring I'll be releasing Alice in La La Land. It's a (loose) contemporary retelling of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland with a Hollywood twist. Alice is a spin-off of Cinder & Ella. It stars a new main character and a new love interest, but there is some crossover and some of your favorite Kelly Oram characters may just make appearances! Be sure to add the book to your want-to-read list so you don't miss any updates. I'll have official release dates/cover reveal dates and a summery after the new year. I'll post a teaser or two as well. Keep an eye out. I can't wait to share this one with you! Alice in La La Land

My current work in progress is also in the Kellywood universe with another retelling. For you Cinder & Ella fans, I'm writing Vivian's story! I'll keep you posted as I progress with that one. I'm about 50k in which is probably about 60% finished. I should have a better idea for it by the time Alice releases, so keep a look out for that too.
