About the AuthorBorn in Washington where she still resides, Avis M. Adams fosters a deep love for the Puget Sound and the Pacific Northwest. She loves to hike the local and national parks and learning the history of the region. The lush plants and scenery of Western Washington feature heavily in both her poetry and novels.
After earning an MA in English Literature, she began teaching and currently teaches English at a Green River College. She gives readings at local venues and teaches at writing conferences in the Puget Sound area. She writes everyday, has published a book of poems.
