The Year of Empress Elisabeth – Sisi’s descendants (Part one)

Empress Elisabeth of Austria and her husband Franz Joseph had four children, of which three survived to adulthood. These children all had children of their own, thus leaving a long line of descendants. Please note that this information is likely to be incomplete and that most, if not all, of the titles described below, have been, or are being, held in pretence.

Her eldest surviving daughter was Archduchess Gisela (1856-1932), who married Prince Leopold of Bavaria (1846-1930). They had four children together, who are listed in bold.
