Sometime in the near future, once I finish The Hard-Hearted...

Sometime in the near future, once I finish The Hard-Hearted Gourmandism, I'll be working on a second novella titled A Bite of The Moon doing my first werewolf story. I sort of promised never to write anything on werewolves, but because I felt like writing something silly again in place of The Hard-Hearted Gourmandism before the next novel, I choose this story:

"Ernest Barber is a fat, lazy, forgetful veterinarian drifting through life one day at a time when a weird beast is brought in after a hit and run. After examining it long enough to find a set of dog tags with the name Wendell, the beast bites him and dies. The first night he feels ill, but the next day he feels invigorated and experiences heightened senses. Derrick and Mahogany Pierce come in to claim the body, slipping and almost calling Wendell their son, but Ernest figures out the connection and his own transformation into a werewolf after the death of a lazy employee named Orwell that he suspects he caused. An agent confronts him at his animal clinic and states her suspicions about Wilbur killing his employee. Ernest then visits the Pierces and learns that he wouldn't do anything in wolf form that he wouldn't do as a man. Derrick puts it, "If you are a good man, then you are a good pooch." The couple denies being behind the attacks, stating they're vegans, but that there are other werewolves out there. His assistant Paula is attacked, but survives. At the hospital while being threatened by the agent, he catches a scent and follows it to an abandoned warehouse and finds a werewolf obsessed man named Douglas Forest Cranedell. Douglass admits to using a werewolf costume to commit the killings to attract a real werewolf to bite him and turn him into a werewolf too. He shows off the suit and claws he made to kill with, but when he comments about hurting Paula, Ernest rips him apart. The story ends with the Pierces, Paula and the Orwells sitting down to a meatless turkey, Kailin and Ernest adjourn to the kitchen, Ernest says he wants to share everything with Patty and as the camera pulls away, he bites her playfully and laughs."
