Wm Scott I was Jules Verne reader at a very young age which stimulated pure fantastical thinking about space and ocean engineering/exploration, fighting bad guys as well as the first exposure to nuclear power although at the time, had no other exposure to what the idea of energy really meant in the real world. Graduated to Asimov and Frank Herbert (Dune). Did not pick up Heinlein until early HS and at that time had interests other than just sci fi in my library. ‘Strangers’ was a memorable read …
