Update on my current writing projects

After finishing my first sci-fi novel 'The Sol 3' Agenda, back in 2020 at the beginning of what was to become the Covid-19 Pandemic, I started to write the final book in the Divided Empire Trilogy, 'The Wolves of Erin'. I'd made a really good start on it and had written around 44,000 words when the Delta variant of Covid-19 hit the UK.
Although testing wasn't available, I probably had the virus, for months later when NHS England published all of its symptoms, several of the symptoms that I'd had matched those of the Delta variant. This, combined with the cumulative effects of the numerous lockdowns etc hit me hard, like it undoubtedly did a great many other people and l couldn't concentrate on writing, or even on the research I do for all of my books and especially my historical novels set in late Roman Britain. I therefore had to abandon the project for the time being.
I have begun writing again recently but I decided to write the sequel to 'The Sol 3 Agenda' which is called 'The Sword of Light'. Things are going well at present, and I've written the first 7000 words of the novel. I hope to be able to complete the novel and have it published by the end of 2023.
As regards 'The Wolves of Erin' I've not entirely abandoned that project and once 'The Sword of Light' is completed, I will return to it.
The only social media I'm now on is Twitter and I will remain there as long as it continues to run. I will, however, make certain I write a blog post on Goodreads as often as I can to keep folks updated.
Thank you for the support that you've given me as a writer and an extra special thank you to everyone that's written and posted a review of any of my books. Reviews mean a great deal to any writer and especially to me who never thought he'd see the day when one of his books would be published.
Take care everyone and for my American friends, have a great Thanksgiving Day.The Sol 3 Agenda
