Reading is subjective. We are all filtered readers. By that  I mean that we take in the information we read through the context of our lives, experiences and belief systems. As a result people can take very different meanings from the exact same words. So, it was with some degree of indifference that I submitted my fiction piece to my workshop group as part of my MFA.
