The Light Shines in the Darkness

In Part 1 of Apostle Peter’s instruction to believers (aka 1 Peter), he addresses the darkness in their lives. Darkness consists of suffering, trials, heartbreaks, etc. In Part 2 (aka 2 Peter), he furnishes them with more detailed information for how to live in the trying times they called home.

Oh, but Brother Peter does even more for them than that! He gets very specific with them about what it means to first be spiritual, and then to live spiritually...
