Around the Fire with Your Host and Happenings.

Well, our camper is parked for a while. The last trip was to Lancaster Pa. Hali caught up with her BFF Star. She met Star last year, and the two fell in love. There was one more trip planned but with the price of fuel it just wasn't going to happen. Now the days are getting cooler, and the nights longer, we'll hunker down until January when Lord willing and the river don't rise we'll head back to Florida. We're thankful the camp where Pete works wasn't affected by the hurricane. So many were, and it's going to be a long time for them to heal. Thanksgiving is next up, and I hope you have much to be thankful for. It's those hard times when we may find it difficult to be thankful, but I think Audrey Hepburn said it well

The hard times I've lived through, and trust me, there were many, truly have made me appreciate what I have now.
