Butter Pecan Syrup (makes about 2 cups)
1 1/2 cups maple syrup
2 Tbl. butter
1/2 cups pecans, toasted and chopped
1 tsp. vanilla
pinch of salt
Simmer all ingredients in a small saucepan over medium-low heat until slightly thickened, about 5 minutes.
Blueberry Syrup (makes about 1 3/4 cups)
1/2 cup frozen blueberries
1 1/2 cup maple syrup
1/4 tsp. grated lemon zest
