Character with a different sexual orientation or gender identity (Sapphic Book Bingo #21)
For this week’s Sapphic Book Bingo category, read a sapphic book featuring a main character whose sexual orientation or gender identity differs from your own. For example, if you are cis, pick a book about a trans, intersex, or nonbinary character. If you are a lesbian, pick a book about a bisexual, pansexual, or asexual character, etc.
This week’s post is one of the longest I’ve put together for the Sapphic Book Bingo because I wanted to include recommended reading lists for all of the identities within the LGBTQIA+ community. I hope you find it helpful–not just for the reading challenge, but also to read more diversely and to find a few new favorite books!
Make sure you don’t miss my anniversary giveaway!
Tomorrow (October 21), I’ll be celebrating my 10-year anniversary of publishing my first book with Ylva Publishing. I’ll give away three signed paperbacks (or ebooks–winner’s choice) plus cool romance trope candles that match the tropes in the books. I’ll send out a newsletter once the giveaway has started, so make sure you are subscribed so you won’t miss it!
