I can still remember the first time I saw Brendan Fraser in a real film. It was Gods and Monsters and he played the hot young homophobic employee of an old gay Hollywood director of horror films. I still love the movie but I didn't love Brendan Fraser's character, not even with the ending where Fraser's character tried to embrace the old director being gay.
