Struggles are real

It's Sunday evening and it's been a real struggle today. I keep my mother who has dementia. I love my mother dearly but if you have ever had a love-one with this disease you know it's a killer. To watch this person who was so strong and keep the home front going to not being able to remember things and who talks to your dad that has been gone since 2013 is completely and utterly heartbreaking. Dementia is an awful disease.

Tomorrow is another workday. These weekends fly by way too fast. I hope it's as beautiful as it was today.
