“You have not lived today until you have done something for someone who can never repay you.”-John BunyanWith my personal thanks to all the brave, compassionate people who are stepping forward to help the victims of Hurricanes Ian and Fiona.

When the world seems darkest, so many people help for no other reason than because they know it’s important. Not for fame, recognition, or reward. Just because they are needed. We live most of the year in Florida, and while it was touch and go for a while, our house escaped damage from Ian. But we were among the lucky ones. I am so grateful there are people stepping forward to help those who were not so lucky.
