Medieval Monday | Word for October

Welcome to the first Medieval Monday of October! I'm enjoying the cooler evenings and settling in to the last three months of the year.

This month's word is one I've always found interesting. Merriam Webster Dictionary describes 'harbinger' as follows: something that foreshadows a future event : something that gives an anticipatory sign of what is to come.

And the archaic definition : a person sent ahead to provide lodgings.

Again, I don't believe I've used this word in one of my stories. ...
