I stumbled across The Culinary Saijiki quiet by accident while searching for #callforsubmissions on Instagram. Run by Allyson Whipple, The Culinary Saijiki is a podcast and blog that focuses on where food meets verse, particularly haiku and similar forms.
I was able to read my haiku “Gourd’s Bounty” which describes one of my favorite autumn meals: butternut squash soup. The bonus episode focuses on fall foods from other poets.
