The Cover is Not the Book…But They Do Make a Difference

Not to EVER disagree with Mary Poppins, but covers DO matter. Don’t you think? I’m drawn to a cover and get a “feel” for the book by seeing the cover. Recently, I’ve found some lovely but very different ones.

Here are a few. Which ones stand out to you, and why? What draws your attention?

Here are a few of mine! I adore MOST of the covers of my books, but there are some I love a little more than others. Can you guess which ones are a few of my favoritres?

Tammy I love beautiful covers!
It was one reason I was so drawn to yours ( Heart of the Mountains).
It was just as wonderful on the inside.
Of the others above The Rose and The Thistle, The Lady of Galway Manor are really nice.
I love historical romance and some are so cheesy but I really love the good ones that draw you in.

Kathleen I am such a sucker for a good cover! I never read the back though, and it drives my daughter crazy. Especially when I bring home a less than stellar movie from the library! ;) Love The Rose and the Thistle; Hope Between the Pages is just so intriguing; The Mistletoe Countess, just plain fun!
