30. How to Create a Social Media Calendar with Storybrand

Today we're going to talk about the importance of having a social media calendar for posting content and how to apply Storybrand to it. We all know that our customers are watching social media and that we need to be there, but when we have a peak of work... we tend to procrastinate or do it on the fly. Today we're going to look at how to create an effective editorial calendar for our social networks.

We have a sales funnel created and now we can reinforce it with social media. The most important thing is to be regular with social media posts and for that we need a plan.

We can plan the different events and leave them scheduled in advance for a whole year. You can schedule promotions for those times of the year. It's about foreseeing what every year is the same and doesn't change.

You have to find a balance between talking about your business and your personal life. As for the frequency of publication, the minimum would be 3 publications a week. Focus on one social network and then expand it to the rest.

There are several strategies to generate interaction on social networks:

1. Empower your audience. Make them see that they can achieve their goals, demonstrating empathy and authority.

2. Challenging them: with challenging and thought-provoking questions.

3. Entertain them: they want light content that simply entertains them. Let's not lose sight of this.

My advice for a social media editorial calendar is to schedule as much of your content as possible, don't be too ambitious and set a fixed time to review the interaction of your content. It is important that, once a month, you review the statistics of what has worked best ... in case you have to make changes on the fly if something striking comes up.

However, I must tell you that the most important social network is your database and your environment of real people. That's where I recommend you to build your own People Plan: if you want me to help you create yours, write me at hola@nachocaballero.com and I'll help you create it together. You'll be able to water your contacts' garden in less than ten minutes a month. It will keep you in the eyes of those who know you and who are more likely to empathize with your content.

It's important that there is a consistency between the person you are in the real world and what people find on your social networks. You need to be consistent, have a consistent message and details of your life that show your approachability and humanity. You know I'm not a fan of showing off your kids. It's not necessary. The most important thing is that you know that people who know you, at some point will Google you and it is important that they find that everything rhymes: because the coherence and integrity of a person should not have dark areas.

People want clarity and simplicity to work with you.

My advice is to plan your social media so that it takes up as little of your time as possible, works on automatic and allows you to deal with personal relationships with the people who listen to you.

And so far today's chapter, you know that if you want me to help you with the message of your brand to apply together everything you hear here and find the right words that make you sell more, you just have to enter my website and book a free consultation with me. I thank you for listening and I ask you for 5 stars on apple podcast, spotify and help me to spread this content to whoever you think can help you. A big hug and I'll see you in the next episode. Bye.
