For the week of 7 August 2022 Choosing the Quickening Thurisaz is the half-month rune through 13 August. Jera is the intuitive rune, and Mannaz indicates Devastation’s message to us. The Spirits of Place anchoring the runes this week are Pine in Spring, with the active element of Acid (lemon), rooted in the direction of Beyond. Read right to left is Thurisaz, Jera, then Mannaz.
