Public Library Association Conference Wrap Up

National Tradeshow, Philadelphia, PA

SAN JOSE, California - March 29, 2012 - Fox Hunt Publishing Group extends thanks today to the 2012 Public Library Association Conference attendees. More than 8,700 library staff, supporters, exhibitors, authors and guests from across the country attended the Public Library Association’s (PLA) 2012 Conference in Philadelphia this past March 14th through 16th to discuss various issues that impact U.S. public libraries and their users. Dedicated solely to meeting the interests of public librarians, the conference has a reputation for excellence, making it one of the most popular and successful events in the public library world.

Of the many divisions of the American Library Association that serve more “niche” librarians, few host a book fair as widely regarded as the Public Library Association. The fair, which takes place every two years – the years opposite its school and university library counterparts – draws a larger audience, no doubt because it covers larger ground (case in point: school libraries concern themselves with k-12, university libraries concern themselves with higher level and technical and text books; Public Library covers everything). The 2014 Public Library Association Conference will take place in Indianapolis, Indiana.

By the fair’s end, this group of librarians took nearly 100 Combined Book Exhibit catalogs, featuring ads by Chrysalis Chronicles – The Eyes of the Desert Sand by Edwin Wolfe and others. The show generated more than two hundred and fifty leads stemming from librarians, branch managers, directors, administrators, students and others.  We asked, Aauvi House Publishing Group to comment on behalf of Fox Hunt Publishing Group:

“Again, we are thrilled with these results. Not only are we getting the Chrysalis Chronicles book series and Edwin Wolfe’s debut novel, The Eyes of the Desert Sand, out into the public through such events, educators and librarians across the country are showing interest,” said Lori Moeszinger, Publisher and Editor and Chief.
