There are so many moments that happen with Poppy, times where someone dies and she just moves on and gets with another mouse, times when something happens and that's just how it is. Poppy is such a matter of fact being and I always had questions about her.
I have long since grown up, I'm now an editor for hire and a person who writes many many books. My passion for writing was almost crushed by some abuse in my life mostly at the hands of my father, but I guess you just can't beat out the inspiration and will to keep on going. I remember holding on to some of your books even when I couldn't do anything else but be upset. You helped me get through some of the worst times and I hope that you're having a good time in life.
I know the chances of this being read by Avi are very low, but I feel like sometimes inspirational stories are not just the you change my life kind, but the you inspired me and that inspiration didn't go anywhere and it just kept growing. It wasn't just you, of course that's not how inspiration works. But you were a brick in the foundation of my walls.
Every little bit of advice that I see from somebody who's inspired by you or from somebody who worked with you just shows how much you've touched on this earth.
