A memo-like piece of paper that reads:

Today marks the release of The Fabulous Gays, Vol.2, and there are a few words I would like to say.

I would first and foremost like to thank my amazing wife, Kitty. Without her attention to detail, her drive for perfection, or her invaluable feedback, these books would not be the same. They would likely not exist at all. Today’s release comes just a day after our four-year anniversary and I couldn’t be happier. Thank you for everything, my love. You truly make life worth living.

I would also like to thank everyone who has supported me and my books. You are the reason why I’m able to stay independent and create stories like this one. Stories full of people like me: non-binary, trans, and queer as hell. I am so grateful for every single person who has supported me, purchased a book or treated me to a cup of coffee, it is you who I think about when I sit down to write. Whenever I put pen to paper I think of you and seek to make the stories I write as shamelessly queer and wholesome as I can muster. You are the reason why I make no compromises with my stories; no queer characters forced to exist only a secondary members of the cast, no queer-baiting, no queerness left to interpretation. No compromises. Never. My goal as always is to write about the reality you and I know to be true: queer people exist and our stories are worth telling.

Thank you, for everything.

Signed: M. KirinALT
