Amazon will pause Bellevue towers to study impact of hybrid work on its offices, still plans 25,000 jobs - GeekWire

Today Panzer made a trip to the GeekWire site. There our inquisitive kitty boy found a post about Amazon's latest plans for the company's expansion in Bellevue, Washington.
According to the post by Todd Bishop, Amazon is pausing/slowing down construction on its Bellevue office buildings. The company will be changing the floor plans and office layouts of the buildings. The company needs to finalize employees hybrid return to work plans. A list of the Bellevue buildings and status plans is included in the post.
Panzer says, With all this heat I need a nap. With all this heat I need a nap.
Panzer says, "It makes sense to this little kitty. They don't need to build the buildings with a lot of offices and big cafeterias if there won't be anybody there to use them because everybody is working from home."
Note: This is a long post. Bring a big glass of iced tea, a muffin and a sugar cookie (biscuit) for today's reading selection. To read the post tootle over to Amazon Bellevue towers
