🎨 Beacon Book Box Unboxing ~ Shadow and Ink ~ April 2022 🎨
Hello awesome people, happy Monday everyone and welcome back to Victorious Pages!
I’m back again, with the second Beacon Book Box unboxing in a row and probably the second-to-last in a while, as things have been changing for the company lately.
For those of you who don’t know, Beacon Book Box is a YA monthly-subscription box, in which every month you receive a new release, as well as a bunch of bookish items, focusing on a specific theme.
I have been a rep for Beacon Book Box since January 2020 and if there’s anything you like on the bunker, you can use my rep code VICTORIOUS5
for a 5% off discount.
With all that being said, let’s get to the unboxing.
The theme for the month of April was Shadow and Ink, and, once again, it was one of the coolest Beacon Book Box boxes EVER!

The book of the month was A Forgery of Roses, by Jessica S. Olson, which I have already read and if you’re interested to find out more, you can click here to read my review about it.
“Myra Whitlock has a gift. One many would kill for.
She’s an artist whose portraits alter people’s real-life bodies, a talent she must hide from those who would kidnap, blackmail, and worse in order to control it. Guarding that secret is the only way to keep her younger sister safe now that their parents are gone.
But one frigid night, the governor’s wife discovers the truth and threatens to expose Myra if she does not complete a special portrait that would resurrect the governor’s dead son. Desperate, Myra ventures to his legendary stone mansion.
Once she arrives, however, it becomes clear the boy’s death was no accident. Someone dangerous lurks within these glittering halls. Someone harboring a disturbing obsession with portrait magic.
Myra cannot do the painting until she knows what really happened, so she turns to the governor’s older son, a captivating redheaded poet. Together, they delve into the family’s most shadowed affairs, racing to uncover the truth before the secret Myra spent her life concealing makes her the killer’s next victim.
From Sing Me Forgotten author Jessica S. Olson comes a gothic fantasy murder mystery perfect for fans of Kerri Maniscalco and Erin A. Craig.”
The book was signed by the author and the cover is simply STUNNING!

Let me know in the comment section down below which was your favourite item of this box and if you have already read A Forgery of Roses, and what you thought of it.
Thank you all so very much for stopping by once again. It truly means the world to me and I want you to know that I most certainly don’t take your presence here for granted.
Have a wonderful week, wonderful creatures. Stay safe and stay positive!
Till next time… Toodles!
