A very proud milestone (Not a shooting star! )
But I love my writing path!
I have achieved a milestone with simultaneous publications in the summer issues of Asimov’s et Analog.
As I was born in July, I think this double publication makes a fine birthday gift. Especially as my name is featured on the Asimov’s cover.
It took a long time to get there. Far from being like a shooting star, I am more like a long distance runner with more than 60 nouvelles published in magazines. There are still about 100 short-stories doing the rounds in the pro mag circuits.
In the SF short-story field, Asimov’s Science Fiction (founded by writer Isaac Asimov himself) and Analog Science Fiction & Fact (formerly Astounding SF, counting John Campbell as a long-standing former editor) are the top mags that receive several thousands submissions per year. My stories there are :
Rare Earths Pineapple in Analog
Screaming Fire in Asimov’s.
Currently on sale in kiosques and specialized bookshops.
