What's this? ANOTHER "Attachments" deleted scene? Is it your birthday?

So, here's another Attachments deleted scene. (Get more here and here.) I'm posting a few today to celebrate the book's release in paperback.

This was the first page I ever wrote from Lincoln's perspective — and it was the first page of the book until very late in the editing process. I eventually decided that it was better to dive right into Beth and Jennifer's emails and get the concept of the book rolling immediately.

But I still really like this scene. It was hard to cut Lincoln's mom...
