Announcing a new novel in the series

Twilight of the Church Age is a new novel, considering the era in which we live.

The 2021 novel The Great New Deal (“TGND”) tells of a time, not so far in the future, soon after the Rapture of the church has occurred.  Of course, we are still living in the pre-Rapture era known as “the Church Age.”  As we observe the events of today and notice the growing similarities to the end times described in Bible prophecy, we can see the Church Age is growing dim.  This is the twilight of the era.

Readers of TGND have requested another novel to describe the last days of the Church Age and the occurrence of the Rapture.  I.E., a prequel to TGND.

I appreciate the comments and suggestions from readers and am pleased to introduce that prequel.  The novel’s title is “Twilight of the Church Age.”  This prequel provides the back stories for many of the characters that are in TGND (including both characters who were “left behind” in the Great Surprise and characters who were taken to Heaven at that moment).  There are also new characters.

Kindle Vella Launch:  The initial publication of the novel is being accomplished through Kindle Vella.  That is a serialized reading platform where readers access stories released in short episodes (each one is a chapter in the novel).  The Episodes can be accessed either on the Kindle Vella app for iOS or Android, or on the Kindle Vella website on desktop.  This launch is an experiment to determine the effectiveness of Vella for reaching new readers.

After the first three Episodes of the novel, readers will need to purchase and use tokens to read the other Episodes.  In general, an Episode of 4,000 words requires 40 tokens, which equates to a cost of about $0.40.

“Twilight of the Church Age” presents the last several months of the Church Age and ends at the moment of the Rapture (called the “Great Surprise” by those left behind).  The Church Age ends at the Great Surprise, before the Tribulation, Second Coming and the final events of Biblical prophecy.  Though this novel depicts a period of months, the time actually remaining before the Rapture might be days, weeks, months or years.

In this twilight for the Church Age, watchmen call out a warning and make preparations to help others.  But some people instead move to grab more power, wealth and pleasure.  For most folks, it is business as usual, as in the days of Noah.  They work, marry, raise children and party.  They do not see the coming peril, but God mercifully has provided a path to light, love and life.

“Twilight of the Church Age” blends a dramatic story line, humorous parody and Bible teaching with the objective of entertaining and educating readers and to encourage them to trust in Jesus for these perilous times.
