Carnegie and Greenaway shortlists!

Fantastic news in that A Monster Calls has been shortlisted for BOTH the Carnegie Medal shortlist and the Greenaway Medal shortlist, which means Jim's fantastic illustrations get recognised all on their own.  Brilliant stuff!

Only a quick hit today, as I'm buried in writing, but greetings to all the wonderful new commenters, young and less young.  I do read every single one.

Hey Aly
Do you belong to the Young Adults Goodreads group? I've set up a discussion on the Carnegie Shortlist if you want to join in. Once your're in the YA group, scroll down the YA discussion topics to almost the last one and let us know what you think...
