There’s No Meaning

I invented a practice for me that has improved my life immensely.

It’s almost like a mantra that I say when I do anything to keep myself grounded.

You can apply it to anything and here it is.

If I’m walking outside I say “The point of walking is to just walk”.

If I’m out dancing I would say “The point of being here is to just dance”

If I’m in the room full of people and I get distracted by what other’s might think of me, I’ll remind myself what the actual reason of me being in the room is.

We do things in life and very often we do it to get something from others.

While walking you might walk a certain way so you get attention. While in the club you might skip few dance moves because of what others might think of you. While on a conference you might stress so much about what others think about you that you might miss the valuable insight.

So anytime you do anything and you find yourself too concerned about what’s happening outside of you ground yourself by reminding yourself that there are no huge meanings in the small things that we do in this very moment.

The whole point of doing whatever you are doing is to simply do it.
