Being happy is a vast concept. Being happy is a big goal.
Being content on the other hand seems more attainable.
It’s a mental thing.
If someone tells you to stay in the ice water for 3 minutes you might be able to do it. 30 minutes on the other hand sounds too much.
But here’s the trick. You can tell your mind that it’s just 3 minutes and when the times up, keep doing it for another 3 and if you do it 10 times, you get 30 min total.
So is in life.
We have to trick our minds.
If we think about how we can be happy and stay happy we get overwhelmed. But if we try to remain content for the next hour or even 15 minutes, it adds up and you get a full day.
Break things down. Make tasks smaller, shorter, and easier.
Whether you think you can, or you think you can’t-you’re right.
