In As Close to Perfect Bree serves as our protagonist and we cheer her on in her search for true love. Enter Nate. He's exactly the type of guys she's trying to stay away from. Tall and muscled he checks off all the boxes of a guy used to be attracted or is attracted to but has sworn off. But she's stuck with him as a tennis partner. He's smart too, with an MBA. But he's also a bit awkward and having grown up in Latvia doesn't get all the US cultural norms. The jury is out on this Nate and whether he's a keeper.
