Xanxa Twitter is the most fickle of the social media platforms which I use. I often find people follow just to be followed. When I follow them back, they unfollow me. Also, I lose followers if I don't post every day. I dislike the format, so I only use it for promotional purposes. Each time I go in there, I weed out the "follow to be followed" vultures who have unfollowed me.

I try to engage with people by answering their questions, but hardly anyone ever responds when I post a question or a poll. I feel like it's a lost cause, but I keep it up anyway, because we authors need to do the social media thing.
