When a break is needed...

Hey, friends and readers!
Hope your days are treating you well. Mine have been great.
I completed my dragon shifter story, submitted, and now wait to hear if it'll be part of the anthology for Evernight; or at the very least, a stand alone publication.
In the meantime, I'm making a dent in that huge TBR pile I told you about. ;) Filling my well.

I'm also spending time loving on my grand kids. Yes, plural! For those who've been following, you may have noticed I've not mentioned much about my family lately. I tend to keep my personal and author lives separate, no matter how much they intertwine. How could they not, right?
Well, we recently welcomed twin grand babies into our family. So now our grandson, who is almost three, has a little sister and brother to dote on. Everyone is healthy and precious.

Between family and work (because I'm continuing to practice dental hygiene two days a week), along with writing, I've got a lot on my plate. And I love it!
And with our summer approaching, hubby and I hope to take every advantage of our nice weekends (because they can be fleeting). We want to take some road trips, take in some drag racing, and even catch some hockey games at the start of the new season in October/November.

So while I contemplate my next writing project, I'll love on my family and get lost in the many fantastic books awaiting my attention.

Cheers to all, and happy reading! xo
