Sweating the Small Stuff
We have all heard that we shouldn’t sweat the small stuff. Well I want to remind you of the importance of this sentiment on your journey to living life effectively. Don't sweat the small stuff.
You have so much to offer the world. Position yourself to let go of the little things that can stop you. If not, you can find yourself living an extremely frustrated life.
Letting yourself get stressed out over the little things in life is one of the biggest ways to bring unnecessary grief into life’s path. Sometimes we simply must remind ourselves, this is just a moment in time and not your entire life.
We can avoid a lot of negative feelings, and even health problems, simply by learning not to let the little things get to us. Health problems such as heart disease, obesity, diabetes, depression, headaches, and low energy can all come from holding on to the wrong things.
As we’re all creating our lives..
⁃ Let’s smile and laugh a little louder than yesterday,
⁃ Let’s do something more challenging,
⁃ Let’s perform a different act of kindness,
⁃ Let’s think more positive and do more positive each day.
Just do more of the good stuff and don’t sweat the small stuff. I want to tell you something, this world is vast and it's going to open itself up to you a little more each day. Your goal is to learn how to embrace every day to the fullest.
Here are some tips to help you stay calm when it all feels too much:
1. Focus on the big picture
2. Remember that we all make mistakes
3. Forgive others
4. Forgive yourself
5. Ask yourself if it will matter in ten years
Don’t forget to start each day with a kind heart and positive attitude.
As a life management coach, I teach my clients, when something goes wrong, you have two choices. You can slip into a rage, or let it go.
Making the choice not to sweat the small stuff will bring you life-changing happiness, and you will be thankful for your own shift in perspective.
I hope you have a great week. Stay positive and be kind. May health and happiness be yours. Save your energy for the big stuff.
If I could change anything about my life moving forward, it would be to not sweat the small stuff. Life is a beautiful thing. I’m learning how to enjoy it every day.
