The End.

I never thought I would write these words at the end of this book. It nearly killed me to write it. I gave up countless times. On some days, sitting down to write it was pure torture. On other days, unthinkable.

But I pressed on, and what I have written here is not a book, but my heart split into 300 something pages. This is not going to be a book for everyone: it is too serious, too heavy, although there is a lot of silliness and kissing and observing of sharp cheekbones in it as well. (It’s one of my Regency Rakes and Ruin books, after all, how could there not?)

But there is also mention of a dragon, and not in a fantasy way. In a very real way. Anyone who reads it will discover who (or what) the dragon is. I fought it tooth and nail to get this book done, and I have still 2 rounds of edits. If they don’t kill me, the book will be out in June 13th.

I had to delay it because my family got c*vid and we also had some other very serious stuff to go through. Some people seem to have to deal with more than a lifetime’s share of tragedy, and it looks like this is us. Great.
