Matthew 7:7–8

I love to go to church. I feel great peace and joy when I’m there.

One day I was sitting inside, enjoying the silence.

Suddenly I got the urge to find the icon of Archangel Michael.

I looked around and noticed that there are no names written under the icons. So I went to the icon that I intuitively felt was his.

The next day I was driving and saw a beautiful church. It looked like a palace.

I love to check out new churches so I parked my car and went inside.

After prayer, I sat down on the chair, in the back of the church. I suddenly remembered that I was searching for Archangel Michael. I stood up and started walking around.

Unfortunately, there were no names written under the icons as well. Because I have never seen his icon before I had no idea how to recognize him.

A few days went by. I was driving to a new neighborhood. I saw a beautiful, tiny church. I had the urge to stop, but at the same time, I was hesitant, because I was going to my mother-in-law’s house and don’t want to be late.

But as I saw a convenient parking spot next to the church I couldn’t resist the urge, I parked my car and went straight to the church.

In the country of Georgia, where I currently live, there are small stands inside the church, where they sell candles, all the other holy books, icons and etc. As I was buying candles I had this weird desire to ask this woman a question.

It was strange because I never had this question come up in my mind, I even thought not to ask the question.

But I try to listen to my intuition whenever I can.

Because every church is named after a certain Saint, I asked her the following question;

“Do you know who is this church named after?”

The woman looked me in the eyes and said;

“Archangel Michael”

Everything made sense.

The urge to stop at the church, the desire to ask the question I have never asked in any other church.

Everything was clear now.

I smiled and even teared up.

I bought candles and turned around. In this tiny church was a huge icon of Archangel Michael.

I went to his icon and said;

“I was searching for you and you knew, so you brought me to your own church.”

It was one of the most beautiful stories I had ever experienced.

Mathew 7:7 says;

7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:

You will always find whatever you are seeking. What you need to learn is how to listen to your intuition/gut feeling.

That subtle voice inside of you is your guide.

Your intuition is the voice of God. Your intuition is your guidance. Your intuition is the voice of your inner being.

Ask and be ready to receive.

PS. Do you remember when I said this in the beginning; “I looked around and noticed that there are no names written under the icons. So I went to the icon that I intuitively felt was his. “

The icon I felt guided to was Archangel Gabriel’s. Still pretty close.
