It's getting closer!
Finding Monica will be live before we know it! I thought I'd give you a little glimpse into how Monica and Pid meet in the excerpt below. She's prickly, doesn't trust anyone, especially military men, and finds herself in the middle of a coup in a foreign country when Pid and his fellow SEALs appear out of nowhere to get her to safety.

I really love this story because it involves Monica overcoming the baggage she's carried with her all her life. I think many of us are in the same situation...trying to figure out how to get through life and open ourselves up to love when all we want to do is hide under our blankets and be safe. But no worries...Pid manages to break down her walls brick by brick, and Monica learns that while it's good to be cautious...not everyone is out to get her. :)

I've spent the last week visiting with my mom and even though we didn't do a whole lot while she was visiting, it was nice to just hang out with her. I hope you all had a happy Easter (if you celebrate) and a safe and healthy weekend if you don't.
