Well, there’s a lot to rearrange. Part of it is rearranging my workday, what I’ve been trying to do these past few weeks, to match the best task to the best energy at any given point, instead of simply plowing through a list. The list only exists in my head, anyway, since writing down a daily To-Do list stopped being a positive tool for me years ago.
As part of the ongoing spring cleaning/continuing to unpack, I’m rearranging things in the house. Less following a feng shui template than shifting things until they look and feel right (and then they usually wind up being in the right spot anyway).
There will be a good deal of trying something, finding it’s not working, and shifting. But that’s okay. That’s part of the process. Then I’ll find something that works — until it doesn’t, and I’ll have to shift again. But that’s one of the reasons I prefer to freelance. I don’t have to get trapped in someone else’s idea of how a workday is structured.
What’s your intent for the week?
