When We Say, “Father Give Me My Share” (Luke 15:11-12 and Exodus 3:11-14:17)

When we say, “Father give me my share,” as the rebellious younger son did in Luke 15:11, we set ourselves up for problems. We always want to have soft, teachable, receptive hearts that are submissive and sensitive to God’s will. We never want to keep pushing for our will when God has made His will clear.
