Connecting with my readers!

Hello readers!
I apologize for not connecting with you through Blog posts! I was feeling overwhelmed with all that book promotion entailed. But thank you for your interest in Paris Blue, whether you have read it already, or plan to.

Besides the thrill of seeing this story in print after 43 years of it lingering in my psyche, the most gratifying part has been hearing from readers about how they read it in two days, and how it brought back stories of their own. Grown straight men have written that they couldn't stop sobbing. That it is resonating in such a way is so moving for me.
My real job is as founding artistic director of a chamber music series, Mistral Music, and for every concert I write a message from the director in the program booklet. They are always personal little stories about my life or about the music they are about to hear. I imagine that these blog posts could be very much the same.
