The fact that almost everything in Nature wants to kill us is partial proof that we are either prey or intruders. The prey part is understandable, humans being mammalian and all. It's the intruders part that most interests me, because if we truly are intruding… From where are we originally intruding? Predator species on Earth already have plenty of prey species to help ensure balance in any given ecosystem. to all intents and purposes we seem to be, dare i say it, superfluous, excess, and irrelevant to the grand running of things. almost as if we're...visiting. or rather, intruding.
