As I plot certain parts of BOOK TWO, I have to think that the old "Freytag's Pyramid" way of thinking, while it IS a foundation for dramatic literature and plays, is far too simple for today's mind. It is, at least, what I would like to THINK today's mind is capable of. I happen to think that writing does NOT have to follow a certain pattern, and perhaps that's why I have only sold 2,500 copies to this date. The OLD Freytag is just not for me.

I would have to say that MY style looks more like a company profit/loss chart, where profits have always been on the uptick, and always in the black, so to speak.
