an ideal way to spend a morning

Today I was at the Ideal Home Show talking about TEMPTATION ISLAND and reading an extract from the book. Thanks to everyone who came, it was lovely to meet you all. We had loads of signed editions of HOLLYWOOD SINNERS to give away and I even had another Ms Fox queueing for a copy. Afterwards my publicists and I grabbed a coffee and discussed the merits of outdoor hot tubs (well, it was the Ideal Home Show) and I fantasised about living somewhere where I could have soft furnishings on my garden furniture, like you get in bars abroad, you know the ones where they bring you a little bowl of peanuts with your V&T. 

Book 3 is well on its way. Last week my friend Kate and I had a writers' retreat in the west country and it was brilliant. I'm a big believer in changing your environment when you need to push on and after four days' planning I was ready to begin. Fresh air + no distractions + box of red wine (forget the bottle) makes for my perfect writing week. There's going to be plenty of shocks and scandal in Book 3 and I'll keep you posted with how I get on. For now, though, it's back to PRIDE and AMBITION, my next two shorts coming out in advance of TEMPTATION ISLAND. Let me know what you think of them!
