Inspiration is something I ask for every day, and some days I’m lucky enough to receive it. I try my best to capture and expand on this feeling whenever it comes but, to be honest, I have no idea how it finds me or what form it takes. It might be a quiet voice in the back of my mind telling me which direction to take or something as simple as a breeze that shifts my attention to something on my path that changes my perspective. I don’t question where my inspiration comes from, but I’ve made it a habit to ask for it before tasting my morning coffee.
When I ask for inspiration from this strange place of peace and love, you can be damn sure I’m not complaining about not getting any yesterday or the fact that I’m struggling to pay my bills today. Instead, I show genuine gratitude for my inspiration with faith that it will show up when I need it most.
I don’t question what form it takes or the information it’s trying to reveal to me. I only ask for the inspiration to be the best version of myself, and then I do what I can to implement the information in the best way I know how. Rad more…
