People talk about President Obama and his red line. They forget or never really knew what happened. He decided to ask Congress and the American people first before he took action. He was totally abandoned. No one wanted to help. That included Democrats, Republicans, liberals, conservatives. He had the support of Senator John McCain, but very few others. So he chose not to act. The rest is history. We abandoned the Syrian people fighting for democracy. Later President Trump would even abandon the Kurds who helped us. The Real World is a dangerous place. And thank you very much, Vicki, for listening to my poetry.

We humans have a lot to question and a lot to answer and not just with "shoulds' "coulds' "maybes" "needs" but - done. I'll be dead before I see the divisive hate turn to "do we really want to live in a world like this?" After all, we all live here.
So we got through covid (pretty much) but not without millions dying, confusion, lies, hate, blame. So at present, we have more to sicken us. One man murders, destroys, exploits, manipulates, demands, commands, injects terror, chaos, and hate, one man stands bigger than life knowing that he has the entire world focused on him. How can the world allow such a monster, one man, to have all that ? Yeah! "The Real World is a dangerous place."
I go up and down back and forth then I go off the grid so to speak to my precious solitude. Thankful my husband humors me. I am very fortunate in so many ways. I wish it on everyone.
