AWP Is This Week!
I'm looking forward to going to the AWP (Association of Writers & Writing Programs) conference this week, never mind that I've never attended nor taught in a writing program. It's a huge event filled with panels, readings, external events, and a vast book fair, and this year it'll be in Philadelphia (last year it was remote, of course).
One of the most exciting aspects of the conference for me this year is that I'll be joining with quite a few other Regal House authors to do two evenings of celebration of our books at the local Barnes & Noble. We are featuring readings by those whose books are already out, while those (like me) whose books are on the verge of publication will be helping out and also handing out info on our own books. If you'll be in Philadelphia on Thursday or Friday, please come by and see us from 5:30 to 7:30!
