I loved HORIZONTAL POET and still go back and read some of the poems that really rocked me! I hope you WIN!!! Can't wait until your reading next month in Santa Barbara! You're such a trooper, handicaps aside. We've all got them lurking somewhere or other if not apparent already.

Hi Ginny, You are so kind!!! Thanks for your smiling face and your sweet words. There are a lot of us with "invisible disabilities" out there, aren't there? I hope someday people will just be okay with them, instead of projecting all kinds of meaning on them that they don't really have: reasons for stigma, I mean.
Love,
Jan
Nobody's perfect! The sooner we realize that, the easier it'll be for everyone, including ourselves! There are perfectionists though, but that's another "invisble disability." I shoulda been a cave woman! :)
Is your book for sale on Amazon.com? Also, you might ask Suzanne Frost to help you; she works for psychiatrists; maybe they would be supportive of getting you to the Lammies! I'm listening to 80s music; it's so fun! What has happened to all the all-girl bands like the Go Gos, The Supremes, etc?
Thanks for asking, Ginny. It's not up on Amazon yet, but it will be soon. The publisher is going to get everybody's books from the press up there. I LOVED the Go Gos!
This town is my town...too bad they disbanded, literally. I have a feeling you're going to win! For one thing, your cover is a work of art, very Matisse! You look so classic and classy! I'm waiting on the film and trying to publish TOUCH ME, TOUCH ME NOT online; I'm in the middle of publishing it; it's hard! IBSN numbers and what not. That's okay, the fame and fortune will make it all worth our while! :)
